Terms of Use
Last updated 24 July 2026
These terms govern your use of the Sandhi desktop and mobile applications. By installing or using Sandhi, you agree to them.
The short version
Sandhi is yours to use, free, on your own devices. It acts on your instructions, so you are responsible for what you ask it to do. It is early software provided as-is: keep backups, supervise anything consequential, and do not rely on it where a mistake would be costly.
1. Your licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, revocable licence to install and use Sandhi on devices you own or control, for personal or internal business purposes. You may not sell, sublicense or redistribute the applications as your own, remove attribution, or present a modified build as official Sandhi.
2. You are responsible for what you ask it to do
Sandhi is an agent: it carries out instructions on your devices, in your accounts, under your identity. Anything it does is treated as done by you.
You agree to use it lawfully, and not to instruct it to access systems or accounts you are not entitled to, to breach another service's terms, to send bulk or deceptive messages, or to do anything unlawful or harmful to others. You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with the terms of any third-party service Sandhi operates on your behalf.
3. Supervise consequential actions
Sandhi asks before actions it judges risky, and steps aside in banking and payment applications. These are safeguards, not guarantees. Automated systems misread screens and make mistakes.
Do not leave it unsupervised for anything you could not comfortably undo — deleting files, sending messages, moving money, or changing account settings. Keep your own backups of anything you value.
4. Third-party models and services
If you configure Sandhi to use a cloud AI provider with your own API key, your use of that provider is governed by your agreement with them, and you are responsible for their charges. We do not control the model's output, availability, pricing or data practices, and we are not a party to that relationship. The same applies to any service Sandhi operates on your behalf.
5. Early software
Sandhi is released as early-access software. Features may change or be removed, builds may contain defects, and behaviour may differ between devices and operating-system versions. We are under no obligation to provide updates, support or continued availability.
6. No warranty
Sandhi is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will correctly complete any given task.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, nor for any loss of data, files, profits, revenue or business, arising from your use of or inability to use Sandhi — including actions taken by the agent on your devices.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
8. Changes and termination
We may update these terms; the revised version will be published here with a new date, and continuing to use Sandhi means accepting it. You may stop using Sandhi at any time by uninstalling it, which ends this licence.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India shall have jurisdiction over any dispute, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
