Legal Notices
Last updated 24 July 2026
Ownership, trademarks, third-party software and how to reach us about any of it.
1. Publisher
Sandhi is published by Aitele Research LLP. Correspondence of every kind — general, legal notices and security reports alike — reaches us at hello@aiteleresearch.com, or through the contact form.
2. Copyright
© 2026 Aitele Research. The Sandhi applications, this website, and their design, text, graphics and code are protected by copyright and may not be copied, redistributed or used to produce a competing product without written permission, except where a licence granted below permits it.
3. Name and marks
"Sandhi" and the Sandhi mark are used by Aitele Research to identify these applications. You may refer to Sandhi by name in reviews, articles and comparisons. You may not use the name or mark to suggest that a product, build or service is endorsed by or affiliated with us when it is not.
The word sandhi (सन्धि) is Sanskrit, meaning the junction where two things meet. We claim no rights in the ordinary linguistic term.
4. Third-party software
Sandhi is built on open-source software, used under its respective licences. The principal components are:
- Tauri, Rust and its crate ecosystem — MIT / Apache-2.0.
- Kotlin, AndroidX and Jetpack Compose — Apache-2.0.
- OkHttp and Okio — Apache-2.0.
- Node.js and ws, used by the optional relay — MIT.
- Manrope, the typeface used here — SIL Open Font License 1.1.
Each component remains the property of its authors and is governed by its own licence, which takes precedence over these notices for that component. A complete dependency listing with licence texts ships with the source.
5. Third-party model providers
Where Sandhi can connect to an AI provider, the names of those providers are used only to identify compatibility. Sandhi is not endorsed by, affiliated with, or a partner of any model provider. Your use of a provider is governed by your own agreement with them.
6. Responsible disclosure
If you find a security vulnerability, please report it to hello@aiteleresearch.com before disclosing it publicly, and give us a reasonable opportunity to fix it. We will not pursue legal action against good-faith research that respects user privacy, avoids service disruption, and does not access data belonging to anyone but yourself.
7. Related documents
See the Privacy Policy for what happens to your data, and the Terms of Use for the terms on which Sandhi is licensed to you.
